A DocSend alternative, if you are done sending documents.

The short version: DocSend, part of Dropbox, shares the document you already have as a controlled, tracked link, and does it well. Salesclick asks a different question: why send a document at all? It builds a personal page for the one prospect you are pitching. If your proposal must stay a file, stay with a document tool; if the proposal is really an argument one person needs to read, the page wins.

Credit where due

When DocSend is the better pick

Fundraising decks, reports, and any process where the file itself is the deliverable and access must be controlled: NDA gates, watermarks, data rooms for due diligence. Salesclick does none of that, on purpose. It is for the seller whose proposal is a pitch to one named person, and whose real problem is knowing what happened after they sent it.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers

What is a good DocSend alternative for sending proposals?
If the proposal is a finished document and you want a tracked, access-controlled link to it, DocSend does that well. Salesclick is the alternative for a different intent: instead of sharing a document, it builds a personal tracked page for the one prospect you are pitching, where they can also answer, book a time, accept the agreement and pay. Pick by whether you want your document tracked or replaced.
Does Salesclick have DocSend's access controls and data rooms?
No. DocSend's NDA gating, watermarking and virtual data rooms exist for sharing sensitive files in processes like fundraising and M&A, and Salesclick does not compete there. Salesclick pages are private and unlisted, which is the right level for a sales pitch, not for due diligence.
What does Salesclick track that a document link cannot?
Because the proposal is a living page, Salesclick sees reading per section with time spent, return visits over the life of the deal, and the moment the link opens on a new device, which usually means it is being passed around the buying committee. It also carries the deal forward: an accepted agreement or a payment on the page moves the deal to won by itself.
When is DocSend the better pick?
When the thing you send must be a document: a fundraising deck, a report, files in a due-diligence process. And whenever you need NDA gates, watermarks or a data room. Those are DocSend's home ground, not Salesclick's.
