THE POLICY · PLAIN ENGLISH · AUGUST 2026

Privacy

The short version: your data is yours, your prospects’ data is treated as carefully as yours, and nothing is sold to anyone. The long version is below, still in plain English, because a policy you can’t read isn’t a policy.

What we collect about you

  • Your account: name, email, and sign-in via Google. No passwords stored here.
  • What you create: pages, deals, contacts, companies, agreements.
  • How you use the app itself.Inside your dashboard we record which screens you open, which fields you interact with, what you click, and how long things take, so we can see what’s broken, what’s ignored, and where people get stuck. We record that you used a field. We never record what you typed into it. Your prospects’ names, emails and deal values stay out of that record entirely, and there is no setting that turns it on. This is our own first-party measurement. No third-party analytics, and it never runs on the pages you send.
  • Your conversations with the AI assistant. When you chat with the in-app assistant we store what you write and what it replies, in full. We use those conversations to fix what confuses people and make the assistant better — and, being a small team, that means a person on our side may read them. It is the same as the services and notes you type into the product: your own words to the tool, stored so we can support and improve it. They are yours — included in your data export and erased when you delete your account.
  • Problems you report from the chat. If you tell the assistant something is broken and confirm logging it, we store that report: the line summing it up, what you told us happened, and which screen you were on. It goes to a screen our team reads. Nothing in the app replies to a report, so we do not pretend otherwise. Like everything else here, reports are included in your data export and erased when you delete your account.
  • The live demo on our front page. It shows you what a sender would see while you read: your time on the page, how far you scrolled, whether you have been here before. It runs entirely in your browser and none of it is sent to us. The one thing it keeps is a visit count stored in your own browser, so “you came back” is true rather than staged. Clear your site data and it forgets. A page that demonstrates tracking should be straight about its own.

What we collect about your prospects

When you send a page, Salesclick records how it is read: opens, time on sections, clicks, return visits, and coarse device/location hints. This is first-party analytics on a private page you chose to send one person, not ad tracking. There are no third-party trackers, no ad pixels, and no cross-site anything on the pages you send.

  • Deleting a contact deletes their events. The cascade is built into the data model, not a support ticket.
  • Reachout events are personal data and we treat them as such. They live as long as the contact they belong to: delete the contact and they go with them. We do not yet expire them automatically on a timer. When we do, this page will say so and give the number.
  • You are the controller of your prospects’ data; we process it for you.

What we will never do

  • Sell or share your data, or your prospects’, with advertisers. Ever.
  • Train AI models on your pages or your pipeline without explicit opt-in.
  • Hold your data hostage: export exists, and leaving is allowed.

Questions

This policy will grow more formal as the product grows. Questions or deletion requests: write to the founder. The answer comes from the person who built the database, not a queue.
